Göttingen is almost in the middle of Germany. There are direct train connections with Frankfurt Airport (about 2 hours), Hannover Airport (about 1 hour), Hamburg Airport (about 2 1/2 hours) and Berlin Airport (about 3 hours).

The workshop takes place at the Mathematical Institute of the University of Göttingen, in the Bunsenstrasse, which is in 10-15 minutes walking distance from the railway station.
